Quran Memorization Program

In collaboration with the IQRA program of the Islamic Center of Fremont, Ilm Academy offers full time and part time Qur’an memorization programs. It is a priority for Muslims to memorize the Qur’an, and it is by the Grace of Allah (SWT) that Ilm Academy is able to offer this opportunity to its students. Both full time and part time Qur’an memorization programs are self paced programs.

Full Time Qur’an Memorization

The full time Qur’an memorization program is offered to students in Grades 5 and up. It is a proud moment for Ilm Academy to see its Huffaz from the IQRA program leading taraweeh prayers in masajids. The full time Qur’an memorization program is an ideal way to assist students in completing the memorization of Qur’an without having to homeschool. It provides a full-classroom environment that is sometimes necessary for students to learn. Students in the full time Qur’an memorization program are fully accommodated in their academics since the school realizes that the memorization of the Qur’an is no simple task. For this reason, projects or homework assignments are specifically tailored for hifz students to reduce academic pressure.

Part Time Qur’an Memorization

The part time Qur’an memorization program is offered to students in Grades 2-4. Even in the part time Qur’an memorization program, as in the full time program, students are required to complete all academics and maintain good academic standing. The part time Qur’an memorization program takes place before school hours, granting students the opportunity to make the best of their mornings. This program is a great stepping stone toward full time Qur’an memorization for younger students, providing them the opportunity to memorize the first few juz so that they are prepared to perform well in the full time Qur’an memorization program and minimize the years they spend there.
